It will be China and Indonesia in the finals. China beat Malaysia 3-0 in the semis. First Lin Dan beat Lee Chong Wei in straight sets, 21-17 and 21-8. Then, Cai Yun/Fu Haifeng beat Koo Kean Keat/Tan Boon Heong 21-15, 21-10. And finally, Chen Jin bt Wong Choong Han 21-16, 21-7. So two world #1's got beat badly on their home court! That's quite an upset.
ReplyDeleteNow the record in Lin Dan vs. Lee Chong Wei matches stands at 15 wins for Lin Dan, and 6 wins for Lee Chong Wei dating back to 2005. I'd really like to see this match. Either Lin Dan is back in top form, or Lee Chong Wei played poorly, or both. Either way, this rivalry is getting more intense now.
